The Road to Redemption
A stairway awaits this weary traveler
As he limps,
Eager, contained
Breathing in the
Scent of childhood lost...
Seeking what his Lord has ordained
He invents,
He repents...
For there… through a path of
Intoxicating jasmine
A letter, now past-due,
Unravels his soul anew...
In a village close by...
A church bell tolls.
Ah, the ticking of eternity…
He hears it!
And swiftly ,
he sheds
his robe of vanity...
Indeed, a man cannot resist
The allure of rain and mist
Chariots now beckon,
His glorious ascent to heaven…
